Knob Creek Small Batch Bourbon (NAS)

Nose: pleasant cherry vanilla honey Palate: oily, rich, sweet up front with vanilla and honey notes, mild caramel, mild spice on the way down with a pleasant tingly and oaky finish

A bit sweeter than the rye without as much spice. I’m not getting the oak either. I prefer this over the rye but the single barrel 120 proof is much better than either

Middle of the road, classic bourbon. Neat I get mostly barrel char with the classic caramel, vanilla and spice undertones. A capful of water opens it up and makes a much more balanced drink. Gets the job done.

It has a wonderful vanilla and creme brûlée nose, but the taste is so earthy
