You can certainly tell by the color that this is aged fairly longer. Amber in color, smells of nail polish and, if you tilt your glass a certain way it seems, faint vanilla (directly above the glass as opposed to nose inside the glass). I taste a peppermint and tree bark / jerky, and immediately my mouth and lips have a numb, but tingling feeling at the same time. Burn sensation is medium, but no overbearing, then finishing with dark chocolate.

I really enjoyed this one! Had a local store pick so could be older than the 9yrs stated. Was surprised at how much this drank below it's proof ! Of course it had the classic Beam Peanut taste but nothing that drew me away from it.
Aroma of spiced fruit. Taste of vanilla, spice, and fruit. Sweet, vanilla finish. $58.25 in Ontario. Overpriced for an everyday drink and not quite there for a special occasion.
