Koval Single Barrel Four Grain

A bit sweeter then I typically enjoy. I like it.

Initial burn and smoke flavor chars the throat. Then mellows out leaving a full after taste of oil and warm pepper.

Leathery; oats; cereal; More whiskey; aged maybe 3-4 years

Leathery nose, slightly sweet on the palate. Initial orange mixed with a slight heat. Not overwhelming, but let’s you know it’s there. The heat seems to stick around longer than the flavor in the first few sips. Medium finish, some taste of leather here and there. Would drink again if offered, but would not buy another bottle.

My favorite sipping whiskey. Creamy, low burn, banana notes, smokey/spicy flavor.

Smooth, good for sipping
