"Koval has created a pleasantly spicy unaged rye whiskey. Dry, but not harsh on the palate, it has a mild kick of black pepper, a touch of lemon zest, and a hint of vanilla. Though it's difficult to compare to a good aged rye, it's a solid contribution to the unaged whiskey category."
