A creamy, Japanese Pure Malt Whisky made by the Matsui Shuzo Distillery in Tottori Prefecture, Japan with 100% malted barley, though a blend of malt from Scotland & Japan; distilled with spring waters of Mount Daisen; aged for 8 years in Ex-Bourbon white oak casks.
It has an aromatic birth with notes of almonds & malt; while a rich & fruity life adds notes of green apple, almond, orange zest & vanilla caramels; that led to a delicate death of medium length with notes of oak, port & sherry. May 2020 / February / April / September 2021 / May / August 2022
