Reviewed December 27, 2024La Venenosa Raicilla Sur de Jalisco is an intense Raicilla from the village of Zapotitlan de Vadillo, high up in the Jalisco hills. Angustifolia & Cenizo Costeño are roasted in an earthen oven & twice distilled in a Filipino still. It has a dusty & earthy birth with notes of herbs & game, while a smoky life led to a dry & bitter death of medium length. April 2017 -
