Yes, I know it has color added, but I don't care! Oh the smoke; the brine...the everything. For me, it just doesn't get any better than this. If I could only drink one whisky for the rest of my life, this would be it. Thank you Ron Swanson for introducing this to me years ago.

Strong the very slow and mellow. The peat's there, but it's a tiny bit more backgrounded than either the older or younger. Definitely love the bit of seaweed at the end. I think I give the 2014 and 2015 distiller's editions a slight edge (since they're the same price) but this is my go to everyday whiskey (and hence the fact that I have no money).
