Nose: despite the young age, peat is not so upfront. Dried fruits, butterscotch, some hints of banana and citrus peel.
Palate: Smoke, peat and brine at first, which last for the whole time spent in the mouth. Vanilla, caramel and citrus peel just after.
Finish: medium lasting sweet finish. VERY long lasting smoke.
Worth it? I'd say yes. A different take on Lagavulin. Does not reach the complexity of the 16 YO, but is pretty balanced. Much sweeter.
