Less sharp on the nose than the 10. Almost reminds me of a Springbank dare I say! The flavour is so much more full and rich compared to the 10, really getting those vanilla notes and a bit more floral maybe? Having said all that, still peaty and smokey however!

Yes it is good. Sweet, medicinal, forest, powerful, seaside, earthy, moss peat. Less medicinal than 10-year-old? Still, lively, sits around for a good while. Slightly one-dimensional because overload but that doesn't matter too much. It is what it is.

Lighter peat on nose compared to 10yo, peat, iodine on nose. Some vanilla, buttery, medium body, light tannins, nice well balanced complex whisky, medium long finish
