On the nose it's baking spices, seaweed, wood notes like chocolate and of course peat but not overwhelmingly peaty (of course very peaty but in comparison to other laphroaig).
On the palate it's more peaty and more salty (mainly the seaweed), the wood note have some strange synergism with the peat which makes this very enjoyable, one of my favorite laphroaig's!
