My go to everyday sipper bourbon for the shear fact that for the price you’d be hard pressed to find a better wheated bourbon. It’s classic wheat, doesnt knock your socks off with depth or flavor profiles bit with a lower proof its a great evertday sipper. You cannot expect anuthing insane at this oroce but for the proce, I havent found better and dint think I ever will.

Decemt standard bourbon, not much past the basics though, weak finish with that sweet caramel taste that’s common in cheaper offerings

Nose: Caramel, peanut butter, slight fruit in the back end. Palate: vanilla, oak and leather, follwed by a sweet caramel finish Overall: solid sipping whiskey. Classic notes, bht does not wow me. However, I’d easily keep a bottle on the shelf

Tasted 8/30/2023 during hurricane idalia at hhi Tasted right after castle and key Tough to detect much tasting notes. Better on palate than c&k. I winced a little while swallowing, not smooth. But better finish, not as bitter as c&k, nice warmth
