Very pleasantly surprised with this one. Very nice peat and wonderful sweet vanilla. I would say a nod to the Kilchoman profile more than the Ardbeg profile if that helps. Now I am going to have to track down some other Ledaig products. Really good!
Nose: pear, apple, hay, campfire in ocean breeze,
Mouth: brine, oak, slightly medicinal, sweet toasted almonds. A hint of pepper and tobacco
Finish: slightly spicy, with lingering peat and smoke, but not overwhelming
