Lemon Hart & Son Original 1804

Subtle notes of coffee and cola mesh with bolder notes of leather and tobacco. A very earthy rum, gripping, with a touch of sweetness.

Intense aromas of molasses, cola, cloves, nutmeg, and toffee. Mouthfeel is rich and rounded. More molasses, cloves, cola, and toffee on the palate, plus some lime zest on the finish – which is relatively short, but smooth throughout. 2.75/5.00 – Decent (neat)

Caramel, vanilla, brown sugar and woody notes on the nose, rich with subdued sweetness on the palate with the same notes as the nose plus a little oaky bitterness, short, sweet finish.

An absolute caramelly molasses-banana bomb. Not harsh or abrasive in any way. Great straight or in fuity, complex cocktails.

One of my favorite rums. You really get that rich, burnt caramel aroma and flavor from the Demerara sugar. Delicious.
