Lip Service Rye Whiskey

Tasted three whiskies from Savage & Cooke and three from the Splinter Group last night. These are my quick take impressions. 5 of 6 Elmers glue initially, latex paint, light berries, vanilla, somewhat viscous, a little spicy and warming, burnt something or other. Drinks younger than it’s stated age. Dog of the night.

Light rye, smooth.

spicy, springy, light finish. A little herbaceous on the finish
