"Nose: floral sweetness, pear, red apple Taste: raisin, oak and spice Finish: long zesty Very competent, standard Speyside sherried Malt. Great dram, but nothing special. Easy drinker. "

I wish I had the original to compare, but an outstanding whisky nevertheless. A very pleasant Speyside butterscotch and fruity nose, followed by a quick peak of spice on the palate and almost immediately finishes with more butterscotch and malty sweetness. Incredibly smooth for 48% ABV
