Tasting Notes
"The long aging here is present on the nose with a woody and nutty aroma. You'll find a bit of honey and malt lurking in the background. It's a little grippy on the palate, and not quite as smooth as the younger 18 year expression. Oak flavors stay with you, but the malty and sweet mid-palate isn't as intense. There's some baked apple pie flavors there as well, including the pastry shell. That said, it isn't a dessert whisky. Enjoy neat."
