Lot No. 40 Canadian Rye

Let it breathe for 10-20 minutes. One of my favorite sippers.

Long legs N: grass, apple, slight ash P: oily texture, citrus, cloves, sweet oak F: medium finish, bitter aftertaste Aftertaste kills it for me. It has a decent palette and I love the way it smells, but it just leaves an acrid taste clinging to the back of my tongue. I’ll drink it but won’t buy another bottle.

Deep rich pure colour reminiscent of toasted gold Nose: Caramel, pecan, butterscotch, fruitcake Palate: Sweet caramel, Marmalade, Fresh cut oak, smooth oiliness coating the mouth Finish: Long finish, returning butterscotch, hint of citrus, ending with a lingering clean bright euphoric sensation Score: 8.5

Strong spice on nose but smooth cherry finish.

Nose maraschino, sweet flavors little spice at the end.
