Macallan The Harmony Collection Rich Cacao

It was good Not great Sherry on the nose I personally like a sherry finish forward scotch and that did not carry forward as I would have liked it to into the palate and finish The chocolate was not very obvious in my opinion - rather faint For a true chocolate forward pour I enjoy Bourbon county Stout There was plenty of fruit and balance Nothing here that knocked my socks off as was imagining/ hoping for a more pronounced sherry/ chocolate profile...therefore for me falls slightly short 3.75/ 5 is too low 4/5 might be too high There is no option for in between so by default = a 4/5

This is a very indulgent scotch. The nose and palate both evoke chocolate. The mouth feel is a perfect level of creaminess with a long finish. It is the perfect pairing for either Belgian chocolate or a Partagas Black Label.

Had nothing else to say but brilliance anticipated and satisfying
