Butterscotch richness.... Is this why i actually get butterscotch and vanilla? Grape, some tropical notes. Fantastic. Maison Surrenne Cognac VSOP is what i am drinking, probably not what is listed.
(Note: this is a review for the basic Maison Surrene VSOP.) Intriguing aromas of honey, heath bar, and sea salt give way to surprising tastes of peach, orange and flowers. A very pleasant Cognac that comes across as dangerously “sessionable.”
Honey and orange peel are the dominant flavors here with a rounding out of prunes, oak, port wine and white chocolate. Delicious. Light-medium body with a medium finish.
