Lots of oak on the nose and throughout the palate (as you would expect based on the stave profile). Caramel also on the palate. Medium-length finish. Not too shabby, but nothing spectacular.
Value is in this dram...
Smells of chocolate/honey/ cinnamon/fruit
On the palate its warm and toasty not hot at all but mildy warm.
It has those hints of a higher price bourbon if it was left in the barrel a longer time than it was tapped for a wheated bourbon... (Think of it as a wheated bourbon premium tease) Its that good for a daily sipper.
Nose of caramel, vanilla, oak and maybe citrus. Taste is sweet, the vanilla comes in quick and has a really nice taste to it. It stays creamy and moves into a butterscotch with some caramel and finishes with a hint of spice. Quite tasty, I’m rather surprised.
