Maker's Mark 46 French Oaked

Spicy aroma & initial taste; similar finish to other large American producers

Nose is vanilla, dusty oak, lots of spice like cinnamon. Taste starts sweet but gets oaky fast, in a good way. Good spice. Finished for me as a cherry cola, leaning toward a maraschino cherry note. Surprisingly good. Surpassed my expectations. A good wheated bourbon.

A lot sweeter than regular MM. Fruits are more dominant and traditional bourbon flavors take the backseat. Sweet fruit,floral, and oak, almost no alcohol bite, smoother than regular MM
