Maker's Mark Cask Strength

Batch 2018-01 111.5 proof 55.75% ABV Amber color. Nose has notes of dark cherries, vanilla extract, light honey and oak, and lots of ethanol. Mouthfeel is a little watery. Palate has Red Hots cinnamon candy, vanilla extract, hints of toasted oak, very hot. Finish is fairly short with cinnamon, vanilla and oak. It's fine but is basically standard Maker's Mark with a splash of extra ethanol. Tried it in a cocktail and it does not hold up or stand out from the other ingredients.

Good over ice

It’s good for the money. It’s an amped up slightly hot makers. Same profile as regular makers and not overly complex. It is however easy to find and very drinkable. Great for a chilly night by the campfire. Cheers

I messed up and drank this after a glass of ECBP B520 so I feel like it couldn’t quite compare
