Nose: butter, Carmel, brown sugar, spices and wood.
Palate: butter feel to the dram. Coats the mouth. You get a bit of tobacco, barrel spice that sweetness of brown sugar, vanilla cinnamon with okie finish.
Overall: I never could find this expression but a friend landed it for me. It’s a great pour.
Sample from Ryan. Top 5 bourbon from memory. Bested only by ECBP, EHT single barrel, OF 1920 (maybe), and Barrell #26 (maybe). Nothing super noteworthy other than that it was well crafted and tasty. Sampled side by side with FAE-02 and had a hard time distinguishing between the two. Subtle differences, but both excellent.
Soft vanilla and caramel nose with a berry, caramel and boozy vanilla taste. Long charred barrel ginger bread finish. Definitely impressed by this. Going to be putting in in a flight with other wheated bourbons. 55.3% abv on this one.
