Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series 2023 BEP

Pretty oaky as you would expect from the name, fairly mild cinnamon spice and caramel. Also just a bit smokey

Really strong nose and initial flavor is very sweet and rich, however, as the whisky develops it begins to become harsh and taste much of grain at the finish.

👃oak and dark chocolate 👅thick and creamy baking spice, oak, and dark chocolate—consistent with the nose. Nice long finish. Great dram.
