Very tasteful, and great aroma

I'm lucky I've got to try some really good NZ gins recently, a lot of small batch stuff brewed specifically for the season. This is not one of those. Taste is insipid and artificial (as is the colour) I'll be pouring a good NZ tonic in to rescue this one.

Still trying to get better a gins. This for sure has the smell of Blood Orange in it, but it gets taken over quickly by the normal juniper smells you would expect from a gin. The color worried me as it for sure looks unnatural, but the taste isn't too bad. It isn't super strong with your standard gin flavors, but I wouldn't say there is a lot of the blood orange flavors either. Just a hint. I do get quite a bit of the taste of licking stainless steal (don't ask) and maybe some spotty flavors of peach skin?
