Batch 21B was aged for 18 months in new, charred oak casks, and then transferred to a French oak white wine barrel for 33 months.
Manatawny Still Works released a pair of peated single malts to celebrate its 7th anniversary. Batch 21B was aged for 18 months in new, charred oak casks, and then transferred to a French oak white wine barrel for 33 months. The whiskey is made entirely from peated malt at 20 PPM, and is bottled at 47% ABV.

Tasting Notes
"Butterscotch mixes with cigar smoke at the front of the nose, followed by sour cherries, citrus peel, and menthol. The palate offers sourdough pretzels, with honey, dried fruits, and fresh berries, all underpinned by black pepper and ashy fireplace. A warm, lengthy finish offers plenty of peat smoke and earthy soil backed up by ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon."
