This whiskey is quite unusual not only as a straight barley whiskey; but that 100% unmalted and not malted barley used. Pot distilled twice and aged in white oak barrels, this 10 year old product is bottled at 92 proof.

DISTILLED IN CANADA AND AGED IN BARRELS FOR AT LEAST THREE YEARS; OFTEN (BUT NOT ALWAYS) CANADIAN WHISKIES ARE BLENDS OF CORN, BARLEY, AND RYE WHISKIES WHICH WERE DISTILLED AND MATURED SEPARATELY. TRADITIONALLY, CANADIAN WHISKEY IS CALLED “RYE”, ALTHOUGH NO MINIMUM PERCENTAGE OF RYE-GRAIN WHISKY IS REQUIRED IN A BLEND.

Tasting Notes

"There are clean cereal notes and a touch of vanilla, but what really gets your attention is the grassy, herbal aromas. This herbaceousness continues on the palate accompanied by a soft cereal sweetness. The finish is dry and somewhat spicy. The green notes may be a shock to some, but if you're up for something that is not same ole same ole, this'll do the trick. "
