Benchmark No. 8 Bourbon

I was impressed for the price with this one. In my opinion it is better neat. When I added ice it changed it into over sweet madness. This would be good to try in cocktails, if you enjoy a sweet drink.

Benchmark No. 8 Bourbon offers rich aromas of pipe tobacco, vanilla, spice, and oak. The entry is smooth with a palate of sweet spice, black tea, and tobacco. The finish is hot cinnamon, sweet black tea, and oak. An unbelievable quality at an affordable price.

Good mixer. Great for the price.

Doesn’t hold a candle to Buffalo Trace. Just use for mixed drinks.

Sweet with a little bit of spice and slightly nutty. Finish was very short
