McClelland's Single Malt Highland

It ends up tasting like a mid-shelf whiskey; but starts strong.

A little informal home whiskey tasting last night revealed this was the best of our set. Though it was the only single malt of the group. But a noticeable difference, setting this above the rest. Peaty, smooth, and oh so drinkable. Would recommend!

Very thin out the gate. My first dram barely registered above mineral water. It develops into a rather horrific Highland malt with samples of vanilla, cream, and orange zest. The almost blank initial palate morphs into a gas station honeyed biscuit by the finish. Good saltiness. Overpriced in Oregon
