McConnell's Irish Whisky 5 Year

Pleasant summer sipper, especially for the low price. I liked hearing the story behind the shape of the bottle, as told to me by the owner of Left Coast Beverage in Oregon.

Its smooth and light. A little creamy. Very enjoyable neat

Classic Irish. Lots of shortbread, vanilla and a bit of lemon zest. Its not reinventing the wheel or anything but for a mid $20 blended irish, you cant go wrong here.

Neat: Toffee, vanilla, oak. Good. I'll try this in an Irish Coffee tomorrow morning.
