McFarlane's Reserve 13

A rich, Cask Strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon made by adding wheat to the traditional mash bill of corn & barley; along with Kentucky limestone filtered water & aged for a minimum of 13 years and then finished in cabernet sauvignon casks. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grains, dried dark fruits, wood & spices; while a fruity life adds notes of cherry & blackberry; that leads to a rich death of medium length with notes of vanilla, chocolate & oak. Pretty Nice and Smooth

Good on nose but nothing after that

Tasting at Total Wine. Nose of cabernet barrel, berries, grape, caramel, vanilla, oak, and char. Oak, cabernet barrel, pepper, vanilla, and grape on the palate. Sweet finish.

Straight: ehh
