Mezcal Pierde Almas Pechuga

Pierde Almas Pechuga 2013 is an intense Agave Spirit released once a year by the artisan Mezcal producers, Pierde Almas, their Pechuga is crafted from Espadin agave, which is triple distilled. However, before the third distillation, the Mezcal is blended with a selection of locally grown fruits, herbs & nuts. Next, a whole turkey breast is suspended in the bell of the still for a further depth of flavor that enhances the smoky qualities of the Mezcal. April 2017

Lote: 10-P 2017 Nose: dried fruits, light anise, nutty aroma Taste: meaty, leather like, savory, anise!! What a treat! It’s silky feeling in my mouth with a bite due to the 49%. I can’t believe how delicious this is.

Complex fruit and nuts apple and cashew give way to a well integrated smoke and savoury flavour. Beautiful texture as well.
