Michter's 25 Year Single Barrel Bourbon

2020 bottle. The winner from a stacked tasting. Goes into barrel low proof (104) and comes out relatively low at 114. There is nothing harsh about it. Herbal tea on nose. Candied orange and honeysuckle on palate. Finish is wood, but not nearly too much, and light cinnamon stick, with of course a lengthy finish. It’s gosh damn amazing

This is for the sour mash, not the 25 year. Dried fruit, then chocolate and toffee through the finish

This is what Pappy would taste like if it lived up to the expectations.

Hands down the best bourbon I have ever tasted, poured by the hands of the woman who runs the maturation. It was an out-of-this-world experience.

not as good as Michter's 20YO

Brown sugar cocaine. This is quite possibly the best smelling thing on the planet. (This was an '08 bottling)
