Michter's US*1 Kentucky Straight Rye

Lots of honeysuckle. Had never thought about it before, but honeysuckle taste dominates with a hi t of rye spice. Barrel no. 21F1732

Neck pour, neat, no air time. Nose is mint forward and herbal with some toasted marshmallow. Taste of vanilla and fig that fades quickly to wood and pepper. Very long finish of baking spice and black pepper. Not much of a hug. Easy sipper with a series of notes rather than a lot of overlapping layers.

Floral with a light toasted oak note on the nose. Initial sip has hints of fig, baking spice with a pepper/evergreen finish. The second sip has dark fruit cherries and cinnamon with an oily mouth feel
