A fairly standard bourbon. Might be a nice selection for newcomers. Though, it does seem theres a bit more burn than expected with the proof. On the nose some toffee, even some burnt caramel. Apple as well as a some grainy quality there.
The palate as I've said is standard. Your expected flavors along with some vanilla and a hint of cherry on the finish. It all sorts of blends together in a way that can make picking out a few of these notes difficult on first few sips. Perhaps it's nicely balanced. But nothing really comes through enough for this to stick out among other bourbons around this price point.
