Michter's US*1 Sour Mash Whiskey

Ive tried to get in to the michters hype. Personally i think its a classic example of the bourbon boom hype. Ive had all the standard offerings and while i know that pallets vary, this stuff is just medicore to me.

I get the carmal and light fruity nise, taste is primarily dominated with spices/pepper, and a little vanilla as it sits. No burn which is nice
