Tasted neat with out water
Appearance: Deep Amber and clear
Nose: The nose is clean with medium floral notes & butter scotch. I get pronounced apple, a bit of rye bread, light baking spices and oak.
Palate: This is off dry (not very sweet) very smooth and fills the mouth with even heat. Intense flavors of cherry, white flowers, baking spices follow from the nose to the palate and I get pleasant oak char.
Finish: is long, complex and balanced, floral candies (if there was such a thing), light oak tannins and wet stones follow the flavors above in a late echo.
Conclusion: Very Good!
Makes a really great old fashion cocktail.
