Murray Hill Club Blended Bourbon

Mild sweet smell, tastes really sweet, burns. Light butterscotch taste. Lingering pepperiness.

Slightly sweet on the nose with hints of caramel. Taste is oily and spicy with a hint of something sweet. Most of the fire stays in the mouth and it's very smooth going down the throat. Aftertaste is spicy but mild.

Smells of light butterscotch. Light carmel taste with a peppery finish.

Batch 17, 648/700 Sphere ice cube Cool orange color Funky wet forest on the nose. Tate’s bypasses the front of the tongue with muted Cinnamon and baking spice on the middle back Long finish on the back and sides of the mouth

Batch 21. Soft oak tannins & fluffy French toast. Buttery, thick vanilla frosting, cinnamon, nutmeg, prunes, somewhat herbal, butterscotch, golden delicious apples, a little citrus toward the end. The oiliness and oak tannins really shows the age. Vanilla beans linger after a quick finish. The flavors do seem to fade in and out; some whiskys, including scotch and rye, have this quality. Sits pretty squarely in the 'medium bourbon' category. A bit overpriced but I guess that's what you got to expect with a blend featuring an 18yr. Would pair with cigars. Would recommend Old Forester 1910.
