Myers's Original Dark Rum

rich vanilla sweetness, burnt caramel, molasses, slivht coconut flesh, mild oakiness. Despite looking dark and rich its a bit lackluster, and watery. Would be good as a mixer but i couldnt really drink this straight as a sipper

Strong raisin on the nose, rich mouth feel and taste, not a lot of acetone but still probably more cocktails than sipping rum.

On the nose, caramel, brown sugar, cloves, and nutmeg – along with a moderate, overripe-banana-and-raisin funk. Rich mouthfeel. Flavours of vanilla, molasses, pepper, more cloves and nutmeg, and more funk. Medium-length finish, with some noticeable but very temporary heat. 3.00/5.00 – Good (neat)
