Very interesting with fresh banana, pear, honey, raisin, apricot, chocolate, and sandalwood notes countered by the salty coastal influence. Nose: Bananas, Pears, Honey, Cinnamon, Apricots, Sandalwood, Golden Syrup, Raisins, Peaches, Green Tea, Bubble Gum Palate: Honey, Pears, Coal, Raisins, Figs, Dark Chocolate, Bananas, Coconuts, Apple Pie, Sandalwood, Peaches, Hickory Smoke, Vanilla, Mackerels Finish: White Chocolate, Coal, Grilled Bananas, Pears, Sultanas, Apricots, Golden Syrup, Salted Cod, Mackerels, Sandalwood, Walnuts

Tom had the Miya Non-Peated. Honestly nothing to write home about, not worth the higher price

Reminds me of Yamazaki 18, without the finish. Nose is sweet, with a little honey. Initial hit is light, delicate, some carmel, citrus, reminds me of nikka coffee.

Very good, long finish.

Super tasty

A beautfully evocative nose of oak, malt and plum. This carries through on the palate, which has a very fruit forward character. Sometimes black cherry, strawberry, green apple or plum notes shine in the spirit. The finish is quite long with a luscious finality. A masterful blend.
