Noble Oak Double Oak Rye
This rye begins traditionally in charred new American white oak for a minimum of one year. It is then finished through what the brand describes as its patented Compression Finishing™ process using port wine staves sourced via Edrington.
This process uses cycles of heat and pressure to infuse the flavor into the whiskey. The brand plants a tree for every bottle sold, with over 500,000 planted or committed via partnership with One Tree Planted as of summer 2022.

RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is fruity, with overripe baked apples dusted with cinnamon and pears, with an underlying sweetness of ice wine and powdered sugar. The palate is somewhat sharp and thin, with black pepper, cloves and allspice, as well as caramel candies and spearmint. The finish is short and showcases oak, leather, dark chocolate, and barrel char."
