Tasting Notes
"At this proof, the aroma is a bit muted but further tastings allows the nose to show dried tropical fruits atop toasted cereal and a touch of vanilla. There's a waxy corn element present as well. The whiskey is a little sweet on the tongue with an average body and the tropical fruit flavors return, but the intensity is light. The finishing casks are more present on the nose than the taste. The finish is a bit dry and tight with the flavor being more about the hearty grains. If adding water, go easy with it. "
