Tasting Notes
"The rum notes are bright and feel like a top note here showing tropical fruits (unripe banana, toasted coconut) mixed with some darker undercurrents of caramel and vanilla. The rye flavors show up more prominently on the midpalate and the flavors are more grassy and hearty. The rum sort of acts like a sweetener in an Old Fashioned cocktail, but you're also getting the bold rummy flavors as well. This ryerum stops from going into the too sweet territory due to the 95% rye grain in use here. While confusion was the first reaction, more tastes led to more enjoyment. If you're into something new, you'll be happy with this one. If you don't like rum, why are you even reading this? "
