Old Elk Straight Wheated Bourbon

Bought a pipe off this to be polite but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this non-KY bourbon. Sweet and silky, with a mature taste. Not a rushed craft spirit. When I saw it was five years juice it all makes sense. Goes to show, don’t just a book by its cover. Good job CO!

Nice easy drink. Warm on the tongue but smooth. Becoming a fan of the wheat

Fairly standard bourbon, although this is the 7th whiskey in today’s tasting and it’s the neck pour, so...who knows.
