Old Elk Straight Wheated Bourbon

Nose: light caramel Palate: mellow spice, mild sweet. Pepper spice finish. All in all pretty good. Ho hum. Blended with sourced MGP. So. Anyone can do it. Rather have a glass of many other true craft pours.

Getting notes of caramel and oat. The heat was mild compared to other bourbons, and really smooth. It’s fantastic neat, but had it in an old fashioned and was a little too sweet for me with not enough bite.

Drain pour.

Bitter

Mild nose, almond banana and baking spice. Very light on the taste, slight berry note with caramel finish. Very delicate and palatable.
