RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma begins with some classic notes of vanilla and caramel along with some toasted cereal, marshmallows and cherry jam. There's a peppery/spicy bite, both from the proof and the flavor of the rye but it isn't unpleasant to drink neat. Maybe add a large rock. A solid whiskey at a solid price. Whiskey fans who enjoy their whiskeys on the not-too-sweet side will be happy to get a dram of this one. "
