RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The nose shows a candied aroma of vanilla, orange, and cherry. As you move to the taste, the whiskey has a medium light weight with a peppery bite. It's a little tight and tannic/rough on the palate. The sweeter more punchy Manhattan cocktail notes have just a light touch here as the rye is assertive with an herbal finish. "
