Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond 15 Year (Fall 2019)

Easy on the palate, sweet on the tongue, cherry, vanilla, with a chestnut finish. Fantastic!

Old Fitz, wheated bourbon N: botanical, herbaceous, apple, oak, char, cloves P: cloves, oak F: nutty, dank, oak and char carry through

Great nose, thin and a little underwhelming

Tight nose, nothing of note. First sip, you have red hots with light hay oily mouth feel that leads to tannic tobacco and smoke

I'm not sure if my palate has changed over the last 3 years or so, but I really enjoyed this. Had it paired with a Whiskey Soaked Brioche Bread Pudding with a silky crème fresh on top. The OF15 was hot, yet perfectly rounded body. Dark roasted nutmeg and Hazelnut flavors with a long yet not over powering finish. Complimented the desert well.
