Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond 15 Year (Fall 2019)

Fruity, a little sweet, smooth

I will start off saying that this sips much lower than its ABV, most likely because of the high wheat. I got some charred out on the nose and it had a sweet palate but the finish is where this one truly shines for me. I think some of the other Old Fitz bottles are a better but I’m still glad to have this on my shelves.

The nose on it is a fantastic caramel cookie, taste is an apple crumble with caramel drizzle, finish is a bit of green apple

Cinnamon and caramel on the nose, with definite wood from the age. On the palate cinnamon and toast.
