Nose: banana, banana runts, extremely sweet on the nose
Palate: really sweet, banana pudding, banana nut bread although not very grainy
Finish: below the proof but long and steady warmth in back of the throat
Overall: love the balance and the proof point, like a dessert pour but in a good way (ie not too sweet)

I did a head to head with 1915 blended bottle and 1920.
I have reviewed both before so I will just go over the differences. Not a lot of differences on the nose.
When you drink the 1920 you get the rich heat and spice then when you drink the 1915 right after it doesn't hold up. It seems lighter and more watered down.
After a few sips of the 1915 though the oakey rich sweetness hits your palette and you appreciate it more.
I have always loved the 1920 for its strength, flavor and spice. 1915 is a great balance of oak, richness and a bit of spice. Im gonna say its a tie tonight but I think either could win on any different night.
All I really got was pepper and ethanol. Some higher barrel proof bourbons I can handle, but this one seemed overpowering. I’d go to the 1910 over this.

Classic bourbon notes of oak, brown sugar, spice and vanilla. I’m not sure it is special enough to justify the price compared to other OF products, but I get why people like this stuff.
